My heart is on Serenity Co, not only because I believe in the quality and styles of the products that it has to offer, but also the story behind it. I am an ordinary Vietnamese who are lucky enough to be able to see the world beyond the Vietnam village gate, with passion and dream to bring the beautiful handcrafted products across the world to come to Australia.

Serenity Co is for the Vietnamese villagers, who works everyday from early rise to midnight, creating all the products with little ideas of how beautiful their products are, and how far their handcrafted items have reached.

They have little idea of how much they have been contributing to the world, to their family, or how they have inspired someone, like me, with their hardwork and humbleness. In their mind, they work hard, they are paid for what they work to support their loved ones, that'a when they have serenity. And it's amazing to me, that life is that simple.

Serenity Co is also for us, who admires the beauty of nature materials like rattan, seagrass, bamboo, hyacinth, etc, and then amazed of how all of these materials turn into bags, homewares, boxes, pendants, all the things that we use in our daily life. We love the items because they are beautiful and stylish, they help define our own taste and individual touch into our style, from home to fashion. Every single item is handmade, every one of them is unique, everyone of them is perfectly imperfect. It bring us closer to nature, and closer to the one who made our products (because they have a story to tell, too), that, help us to bring Serenity to our mind.

Finally, Serenity Co is for me, an ordinary mom who wants to work harder for her son and her family (to be expanded), who wants to connect someone from one corner of the world, to someone in the other corner.

 

I've heard that when people earn money with their skill, using their own time and sweat, that's when they are most proud of themselves. I've been wanting to help people, but I didn't know how. Then I found Serenity Co., where i can buy products from the villagers in Vietnam to bring here, in hope to help the world to see the beauty comes from tiny villages across Vietnam, I am in turn making them feel proud of their skill and their ability to contribute to their family, and to helping us enjoy the benefit that those amazing handcrafted products have to offer, while I myself have something of my own, with the hope to making it running well to support my own family.

 

That is, Serenity for me.
